Do you want to take your students interested in the construction industry to visit construction sites and vocational secondary education in the field?
We regularly organize open workplace days in different parts of Finland aimed at 8th-9th graders. Feel free to get in touch, and we can agree on a common Open Workplaces day for the schools in your locality.
Built environment instruction day for instructors
Together with SOPO's regional associations, we organize excursions for study counselors to construction sites and other places in the built environment. During the morning, we get to know the construction industry and meet people who work in the industry.

Ambassadors of Raksala
Construction Ambassadors are the construction industry's own ambassador program, coordinated by the Finnish Construction Industry Association (RT). Construction Ambassadors are enthusiastic, brave and proud vocational school students who want to share their own experiences and tell other young people what studying and working in the construction industry is really like.
The ambassadors visit secondary schools in the surrounding area, participate in educational institution events, and represent their own field and education.
The next Raksa Ambassadors program will start in autumn 2026.
- An information session will be held for teachers and study counselors at vocational schools on September 9, 2026, from 3 to 4 p.m. Register with the responsible person information in Lyyti.
- The Raksa Ambassadors training day for students of vocational schools will be held on October 28, 2026 from 1-3 p.m. Registration will open after the responsible person information in September 2026.
